In this vein, I was thinking.what if instead of yet another % boost to a unit's base stats, the TA's bonus instead applied to terrain and unit bonuses? We haven't really had anything modify these yet, so I'm wondering if such a thing is even possible, but to me at least, this fits my perceived definition of Advanced Tactics more than just another base stat boost.making each unit better at what it does best, and could still apply to both attack and defense. The name on TA's bonus, Advanced Tactics, to me implies something more than just a passive stat bonus akin to the other GBs something more strategic. I kinda lament the fact that the Terracotta Army is such a boring GB, after a string of new and unique GB effects that stretches all the way back to the Tomorrow Era, excluding Gaea with its two recycled bonuses. It's going to be rough having the weakened Orangery though that's a real boon to have for level 3 and 4 and unless you're using ronins, is now going to be basically inactive in multiple encounters.ĮDIT: Idle thought that sadly only just popped into my head right now. I won't be able to determine if things are actually more difficult though until after next week. Ninjas in particular are going to require that I change my strategy in multiple encounters. I'm both looking forward to and dreading having to re-plan what units to use in order to fight through all of GE once the armies are updated next week.
